Logo Lounge Love

So this whole Logo Lounge thing: Amazing. Logo Lounge is where people who are logo-nerds go for all of their logo-information. It’s a website and a book series that recognizes excellence in logos, offers logo-news, and tracks logo-trends. It’s very, very logo-ey.

Which I tell you only to give you normal people some context for this absolutely true and exciting fact: The Firm’s logo got special recognition by the logo nerds. Not that we needed validation. We know our logo is funny and ballsy, and captures the essence of every badass who darkens our doorstep. But it’s just nice when the logo-nerds think it’s good, too.

Next Firm FIT is March 29th

I could tell you that Firm FIT is as pleasant as being tickled by little pink fairies with bunny tails. Or I could tell you the truth. Or you could just read this article.

Anyway, after you read it and decide to totally overhaul your life, contact Neil Miyamoto at nmiyamoto@thefirmmpls.com or at 612-810-4052 and he’ll get you signed up. Hurry though! This article is very inspiring, and lots of other people are reading it right now, and space is limited. You don’t really have time to waffle. You should just get on with it.

An open letter to our dear Angie Johnson,

Oh, Angie. When you started here we wondered how you’d fare. Sure, we made a big deal out of how you fit in perfectly, but secretly we thought you were too nice, too pretty, and too smart to put up with all our silliness, sarcasm and poop jokes.

But you quickly showed us that you were made of some pretty tough stuff. You handled your job with poise, and a little silliness and sarcasm of your own. Like one time you accidentally hung up on someone instead of putting them on hold, and you said, “Oh, Eff!” It was the closest thing to a swearword that I ever heard from you, so I savored the moment. It was at this second that I knew that you really had crossed the threshold from new kid to “part of the gang.”

Anyway, now I hear that you’re leaving us for a job that allows you to spend more time with your daughter, that little punkin Grace. And who can blame you? She may only be able to form one-word sentences, but that Grace is every bit as cute as our crew is crude. Not that I don’t think you’re making a biiiig mistake: Did no one tell you? The poop jokes that Gracie’s gonna sling involve real poop. I’m totally serious.

An open letter to Cascaddan,

Thanks for taking over Angie’s core classes. So this means you’re teaching Mondays at 9:30 AM, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:15 AM, and Sundays at 9:30 AM for Muscle Conditioning, no? Well, you’ve got some big shoes to fill. Some big shoes and some big pink hair bows. Break a leg.

Yoga Moves

Apparently the Monday and Wednesday night 7:30pm yoga classes are a little late for some of our clients who were falling asleep while in the zone in the up dog position. (not pretty)

Starting March 17th, the Monday and Wednesday night yoga class will begin at 7:00pm instead of 7:30. Get in the zone a little earlier this spring.

Fit like a Glove

The Firm’s Spin and Bag boxing classes were listed in Twin Cities Luxury and Fashion Magazine as some of the best classes in town.

When I first heard this, I was sort of thinking that taking Spin and Boxing wasn’t exactly luxurious, and perhaps compared to chugging Dom Pérignon out of a Baccarat flute on a Lear Jet, it isn’t.

However, if you go around town and try a few Spin and Bag boxing classes at some competing gym’s (and I suggest you don’t), you’ll find that the Firm’s Spin and Bag boxing classes are very luxurious indeed. A very, very luxurious ass-kicking.
